partner messaging 1.0 VMS HG Exts.

i'm installing a partner acs, 5 slot W/ processor, 308 card & a partner messaging rel 1.0. initial prep inc. assigning vmshunt group exts. install guide states that vms exts are assigned by the communication sys to the lowest ext #s. i need to know which ext #s the sys assigned to vms so i can assign these exts w/#505 & access the voice mail sys thur 777

If I read you right you have a ACS, 308EC and Partner Messaging. The ACS is stations 10-17, 308EC is stations 18-25. If Partner Messaging is 2-port assign 26-27, 4-port assign 26-29, 6-port assign 26-31. Brian Cox

If i read you your response correctly the system will automatically assgin the next ext port #s to vms as you increase the # of ports in the total system.

That's right. The system assigns the next 6 sequential extension numbers to the voicemail module as if there was a 206 module in that slot. Brian Cox
