I have to install a Partner Mail VS on an existing Partner ACS rel 3.0

The system has one carrier with only the right hand slot available.

Can anyone estimate how long this install should take and will the system have to be reconfigured at all (i.e. move existing telephone extensions around?

Site survey: 30 minutes.
Actual installation: 10 minutes.
ACS base programming: 15 minutes.
PMVS base programming: 30 minutes.
VS mailbox building/deleting: 20 minutes.
ACS final programming: 20 minutes.
End user training: 15 minutes per user.
Administrator training: 45 minutes.

A good, experienced tech could install, program and train in 4 hours. A follow-up visit of ~2 hours a week later always cements the job.

Quote 8 hours and you should be fine.

No extensions need be moved around, don't forget to delete the unused voicemail boxes in the VS (especially if its a PMVS R5) and ask questions here before installing!

Good luck to you!

Great, thank you very much. I have ordered the manual and will read it before the install.
