I have Partner Plus 4.1, 5 slot carrier.

slot 1 206 4.1 (ports 18-23)
slot 2 206 e 3.1 (ports 24-29)
slot 3 proc. 4.1 (ports 10-17)
slot 4 400 e 3.1 (ports 30-35)
slot 5 EMPTY

I have some Partner experience, mostly features etc. moves/adds/del. Most my experience is Magix/Definity.

In any case this processor has no card so how do I do a system back up before I start?

I really just need help in knowing and getting the ports into group 7 (777?) For the above config would it be ports 36 and 37? or ports 40 and 41? do you count from the top or bottom?

Where is a reputable place to buy a unit? should I only get one labeled refurbished? and what does refurbished mean exactly?

If I run into problems and just need a lil help via the phone who do you recommend? with out paying 200.00 for 5 min help getting the VM port into the group etc.

thanks

You can't have a Partner Plus if the Proccessor has 8 ports on it, it is an ACS, I also don't see a VS mail so where are you putting it? In slot 5 ? If so your ports would be 40-41 or 38-39-40-41 depending on how many ports.

yep, its a Partner II, NOT an ACS, my bad.

So the ports will be on a VS mail would be ports 32-33 as 2 port mail

I am trying to find a reasonable priced card to upgrade it to 4 ports. (30 thru 33)

This partner Mail VS r4.1 can that do submenus? So if someone hit selector key 2 it goes to another AA, then gives other options?

If not can I make a hunt group? ring simultaneously or in round robin?

thanks.

Not that I would recommend eBay as a first resort, but I did see a 4X40 PMVS 4 card listed with a starting bid of $50. Just be careful, you don't know where that card has been! :)
