Is it possible to have the AA pickup and a user hits '3' for example and that would transfer to ring 2 extensions at once. If no one picks up it would then go to a specific user mailbox. Is this possible with an ACS and Mail VS system?
How do i tell the AA to transfer to a ring group?

Thanks.

Put the extensions into a calling group. Make selector code 3 transfer to that particular group. Set the transfer return extension setting for the VS mail ports to themselves instead of 10. The unanswered transfer will return to the VS mail, which will not be able to do anything with the call, and will then transfer to Ext. 10, the Call Answer Service Operator. If Ext. 10 also does not answer, mailbox 10 will answer and take a message.

can the call go to a user specific mailbox? For example. Caller hits 2, rings to 3 extensions, hunts to extension 14 mailbox. Another caller hits 3 rings to 2 extensions, then hunts to extension 22 mailbox.

Nope, you're already taking advantage of a quirk to get it to 10's mailbox.

If you upgrade to Partner Messaging, you can have the group answered by its own mailbox, and then set a user's mailbox as the phantom destination so that there is a MW light when there are messages. But it will be the same mailbox always.

You could use "Call Coverage." It isn't exactly what you wanted, but it may work for you. With this feature, when the caller pressed 2, it would ring at one ext.

If unanswered, it would ring at another ext. (This is called the covering ext).

If still unanswered, the caller would be transferred back to the first ext's mailbox.

This feature can be programmed on a button, allowing you to
1. turn it on/off
2. change which ext will be the covering ext

Only two extensions can be used in this scenario. It cannot cover to a third ext, fourth, etc.

How do i set this call coverage up? I set the 2nd extension as the Personal Operator but the call never got transferred to the 2nd extension.
