I have seen several threads concerning the very same issue that I am having but a confused CPA like myself has nowhere near the technical background or experience with these systems to understand much of what I've read. I am in need of someone to hold my hand through this process.
We had a power outage in my building and now our incoming calls ring on all 8 phones in our office with two red LEDs flashing indicating callers on two lines. Upon pickup the caller hears, "Transferring to the receptionist." I can hear this as well if I pick up on our end. Switch to the second blinking line and you get a very annoying sound. We want the phones to ring at each phone but whoever in our office picks up first should get the call. Our voicemails are all un-retrievable at this point. No one can dial in to listen to their messages that the red message light indicates are on there.
From what I've read on this site my guess is that I need to assign the correct extensions to Hunt Group 7. I don't really know how to do this. The overlay is MIA so I only know a few commands of the keypad.
Here is some additional pertinent information that I've seen you gurus ask for...
Read left to right:
1: 206E Module R4.1 (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21)
2: 206E Module R3.1 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15)
P: Proc. Module 4.0 (Music on Hold)
3: 400E Module R3.1 (7, 8)
4: Partner Mail VS R5.0 2 Port Card with Backup & Restore
Appreciate any help on this...
