I got a sceneiro where I got a parnter mail (12 Box) Which incoming lines are answered by auto attendent and then need to ring 2 exts at the same time 10 and 11. I am currently using calling group 71 (got 10 &11 in group 71)for selector code 1 which works great it rings both ext 10 and 11 like I need it too, but the problem is it does not go to ext 10 mailbox after x rings.. It says your party is unavaible...I can us the hunt group option but does same thing.. I can use direct ext dial in AA but then ext 11 never know if the phone is ringing if 10 is off-hook...Ext 11 does not need or have VM set up..The one way I did have it working is to ring phatom ext (34) and then wired ext 34 to line port 5 which actually works great until then put that call on hold, nobody else has line 5 but the 2 front desk personnel cuz of 6 button phone for there 2 incoming lines

put X-34 in group 71, with 10's mailbox covering line 5. When 71 rings, 10, 11, and 34 (line 5 on 10, set it to delay) ring simultaneously, if no answer, 10's mailbox picks up line 5 (ext. 34)

The voice mail will still not go to ext 10 mailbox...if I ring group 71 it will to box 10 after vm coverage rings and if I call ext 34 (which rings line 5 and ownership is ext 10) that works...But if I call from outside line like outside caller..push 1 (selector code 1 which rings ext 34 which rings line 5 which ext 10 has line ownership) it will say your party is unavailable...If I put vm coverage rings to 2 it goes to ext 10 box...but if they are not right there they can not catch it...

Any more ideas?? Been beating my head on this one for couple weeks..

Check your settings for Transfer Return Extension, #306, for the Voice Mail ports, 78 and 79. Should be 10 for each, not 78 and 79.

Check the Transfer Return Rings, #105, make sure it is greater than the VMS Cover Rings for 10.

I think that the call is ringing group 71 and returning to the voice mail port that sent it, thus the "your party is unavailable
