Partner Mail Release 3 -- HELP !

I just bought a used Partner Mail Release 3 stand alone unit.
I'd like to reset the entire system to the factory settings.
How do I do this step-by-step?


Also, what is "Hunt Group 7" ?

You are going to have to hook the unit up to the system to default it. Hunt group 7 is for voice mail ports. Once you get it going press Intercom 777 then 9997#, 9#, 654321

you have to create hunt group 7

get into system programming
from ext 10 or 11
press feature 0 0

hit the left intercom buttom twice

then #505
group 7

you want to assign the ports that the voicemil is plugged into to this group go all the way tru and be sure no other ports are assigned to this group

once this is done you can access voice mail by intercom 777


I have a sheet on how to defualt the system in my manusl but I cant find the manual at the moment so I will try to give you the instructions from memory

if I find the manual I'll repost with corrections

to defualt the system you can attach a laptop to the com one port with a serial cable
( i dont rember if you need a null modem or not just try both ways )

use hyperteminal or any other communication program

at the prompt type >init

for a password use pizza1
if that dosnt work try brook

this will take everything back to factory defualt.
