I keep getting a busy signal when i try dialing into my VM (int 777). Also the message light seems to be on my system 10 extension. I had it all working until i had to replace the processer module. I cant seem to get into the VM now. Is there some programming that I am missing??? Thanks.

Neal.

I don't think you can program the card for the Partner ACS by plugging it into a computer. The processor is programmed via a phone at extension 10 or 11.

I figured it out. The Hunt ext. group i am sposed to use is 32 and 33. I had a hard time figureing it out, cuz i wasnt actually in fronf of the phone when you were messaging me. I have the setup on page 204 of that manual. Thanks for all your help dexman. Great Help.

[smile] Glad to be of help [smile]. I would still recommend purchasing the backup/restore card for the ACS processor. It will save you many headaches [thumbsup2]

With the hardware listing, and the fact the the VM ports turned out to be 32 and 33, it's either a Partner Plus or Partner II, so there is no bacup/restore card available for the system.

Be sure that the memory battery that keeps the phone system's memory working during a power outage is good, or you're going to find yourself reprogramming a lot. Motel applications usually have a LOT of unusual settings.

Good catch TTT. I made the assumption that the processor was an ACS R4.0 [purpleface] [sad].

thanks for your help with this again dexman and touchtonetommy.

I seem to be having another issue i cant resolve now. When the AA transfer a call, all the person hears is silence on the line. It used to ring and i tried to program #119 (ring on transfer), but i cant seem to access that function, it beeps, when i hit the final 9 in the sequence. any ideas, on this???

sure the current software dosnt support this function , thus the error tone

Hi Again Neil [smile]

I think Skip nailed this one. The software verison of the replacement processor might be different than the original one that croaked, thus you get waived off when you try to program #119.
