Customer has a Partner II KSU with a bad battery that we put on a UPS on the service call to reprogram system - now they are looking to add the expansion cabinet -is it possible to add the expansion cabinet without powering down the main processor or is that wishful thinking??

ya gotta power down in order for the processor to see the new cabinet........

replace the battery.......

what exactly is the process to replace the battery - i have one in the shop that i bought for a partner plus but never used - is it the same one??

you need to take the module apart desolder and remove the old battery solder in the new battery and put the cover back on the module

it is the same battery for the partner two and the partner plus
