In regards to the Avaya Partner Systems Euro Phones:
The question has come up as to the use of the Auxillary port. In the past we have placed answering machines on the port of a phone for customers who did not require a VM but wanted to get unanswered calls. In this application the theory is, any line that is programmed to ring at that ext. will be answered by the answering machine in the event that it is not answered by the owner of the phone. My question is, if a cordless analog set is plugged into the AUX port would it have the same capabilities as well as be able to answer internal calls or even use feature codes? Something to ponder i guess.
Thanks,
