Hello all. I've a 206 Rel 2.0 that I want to use as a replacement for a customer who has a Basic setup, but one of the line ports has gone bad. The replacement module fires up fine, but when I connect a phone to it, I get no display. I've plugged the phone into a working ACS system and all is well. Could I have an issue with my 206 module? Thanks in advance.

Don't think so as the one I'm looking to replace is a 206 rel 1.0

exsmogger, I know what the processor looks like. This is an older version of how a Partner can be used, called Partner Basic where you only needed a 206 module. The programming options where very limited in what you could do. I'm trying to find out if there's a issue with the module that I have. Check out the manual on it:

Brian is correct that an R3 or higher is required to operate displays when used as a processor. The display will light but there will be no information.

It is entirely possible that whatever you have is NOT the release you think it is. These things are so old that the probability is high someone swapped the board inside the case to make something that works. The label may say R1 but that's not what's inside.
