I have to dial 9 to get an outside line since we have Centrex lines. How do I program the ACS so that a person can pick up the phone and dial 911 and have it work, instead of having to dial 9911. Thanks in advance! :)

You can't. It's a key system, you pick up a line and you've got real dial tone, nothing between you and the phone company to analyze the digits and resend (although there are toll restriction tables that can prevent you from dialing certain patterns)

That's what I was afraid of. I guess I can always program a button for it or program an autodial button with just a 9 and convince people that they have to press this button first for every outgoing phone call. Thanks for the quick response! Is there any other way to make this as simple as possible for users?

Only if the phone company can allow 911 dialing without the Centrex 9, but that is doubtful. I recall government clients with Centrex lines plastered their phones with "Emergency - dial 9-911" stickers

you will need to program a RECALL button (feature 06) on the Telephones to activate your Centrex features (conferencing) because your switchhook flash is not true.

are you using the Centrex feature to caller other extension outside the partner system?
