I have a question about incoming DID's. If I am understanding this correctly, DID's will ring on your intercom keys. My customer is porting their main number and I am concerned that now they can only get 2 calls at a time because you only have 2 intercom keys. If there is a way of putting any additional lines on the phones please let me know, thanks.

That is only if the line or pool button is not programmed at the station, then it will come in on the intercom.

I still dont get it, so which lines do I put on the phone, all 16 t1 lines?

I would put the system Hybrid mode and assign them to pools, that way you use far less buttons. How may local and how many T1 lines do you have and how many DID's are in your block?

I have 3 local lines being ported over to the t1 and 16 channels on the t1 also along with a block of did numbers

Are you saying that you have all 16 channels for incomming? And how many DID's are in your block? 3?
Do you have your T1 working and are just adding DID's or what. I need more info to help you.

new install tommorrow....my customer has a block of 20 DID's and then also they ported over their 3 main business lines. We are using the T! for both incoming and outbound calls. I just need to figure out exactly how and which lines to put on the recept phone to allow her to receive more than just the 2 calls on her intercom buttons.

Ok now we are getting somewhere, First you set Modules Types to Loop Start and T1 Module in General Parameters. Then set up your T1 Parameters to match the provider. Then go into T1 Channel Mapping and you will see that 4-19 have been assigned as T1-E&M (T1 uses lines 4-19). Then go into DID Mapping Table and enter the 3 or 4 digit number to the station to receive that DID (at the bottom of the screen you will see how to set up 3 or 4 digits).
If you are using all 16 channels I would put them in Hybrid mode and give the rest of the stations 880. You will have to assign the lines 4-XX to station 10 or it will come in on the Intercom
Your DID's will come in on those lines, pools, to the stations, call groups, hunt groups that you have assigned them to.

Basicly the T1 lines will come in like a Channel bank after you have got all the programming done.
