I have a client, for whom we installed a Partner ACS r3 about 4 years ago. The Control Unit is dead so I need to replace it.

The Backup/Restore card is good, but has r3 programming. All we have a r3's that have been upgraded to r6.

Is there anyway to downgrade back to r3, so I don't have to reprogram the swicth?

thanks :)

I never heard of anyone wanting to down grade an ACS before. Just reprogram it, it will be a good learning experiece for you.

I found one, so I just swapped it out and restored. Although programming is a good idea, i just didn't have the time to invest today :).

Mondays suck :)
