Partner ACS R4 and answering machine

Hello-

There is a 34 button Partner phone which has 4 lines plus the intercom (25). An analog answering machine was installed at the desk, but it answers all calls (intercom and lines) We want to set up the answering machine at that phone so that it answers calls for x25 only (that is, the intercom), but not for the other 4 lines on the phone. There is no other voicemail on the system. Is this doable?

You must turn off ringing on Ext. 25 to make it not answer the outside lines

Hi TouchToneTommy-

I'll give that a shot (turning off the ringing on the lines associated with the phone in question, so that only the intercom has an audible alert). If there's still an issue, I'll let you know.
