I am not very familiar with this system. I admin a G3r v11. My question is the partner system about twice a day the green light turns orange and the auto attend will not pick up. I have read some past post that mentioned something about ports being locked up but like I said I am unfamiliar with this system. If anyone needs more info let me know. the voicemail is a pc card v3. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure that you have a PC voicemail card? There are no lights on the pc card to change color...

If you have a PC card, or a PCMCIA based voice mail, the pcmcia card will plug into the partner processor module directly. If not you probably have partner mail module which has an LED light on the VM module.

You do not always get what you pay for, but you never get what you do not pay for.

port card should be a 4 port it it is traffic related. Double check to see what ports are assigned to the partner messaging... It does not hurt to check it out! Module can be check to see if it is seated in properly.. Back up, hopfully has not been messed with.. Just a thought!!

aarenot Actually the light is on the switch itself(the power light). This just started recently. I was told it is O.K. in the morning. but during the day when they start getting traffic it starts acting up. It seams to be traffic related. ddools I will check on the ports.

List the cards or modules in the system. List the pcmcia cards, and what modules they are plugged into.

It sounds like you may need to add ports to your voice mail, if all your current ports are answering properly.

You do not always get what you pay for, but you never get what you do not pay for.

I've run into similar problems with some of our VS equipped customers, have you tried removing power, waiting 10 seconds, then restoring power to the system?
