Hello,
I am having an odd problem with a partner system that I installed for a client. I have installed several partner systems over the last six or so years and I have this problem that is just got me stumped.
The system is a 7.0 with 3 - 308's and a Partner Messaging. All but 4 of the telephones are 34D's. Those 4 are 18D's. When the users are intercomming each other in thier offices over the speakerphone. The caller who initiated the call cannot hear the person they called unless that person either a.) Yells directly into the phone, or b.) Slams thier fist down on the desk. The MIC/HFAI button is lit at all times. It seems that the Microphones on these phones are not sensitive enough to pick up the voice of the respondent. Also let me add that they have issues as well when they are using the speaker phones for outside calls as well.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I have replaced the ACS thinking that it had some type of glich or something, I have checked everything I can possibly think of as far as programming. I have a ton of these systems out there and no one else has ever had this issue. However with that being said this is the only system I have deployed with this many 34D Telephones.
Any help, Insight or Opinions on this would be much appreciated.
Thank You,
Jason Thompson
