Partner 3.0 calling extention and voice mail answers after 1 ring

Hi,

When we call certain extentions the voicemail picks up after 1 ring.

and

Where can I get the paper inserts for the phones and how can I print on them? 34D and 18D Phones

Hi dkovacs,
Check the VMS cover rings. You can set each different. Inserts or labels can be bought from any Avaya dealer in your area. There are some vedors on the web also.

I have changed the Voice Mail Cover to 5 Rings and still when we intercom to certain extentions it picks up in 1-2 rings. What should I check next?

Are those extensions in use or is the Do Not Disturb button turned on? (assuming it's programmed)

No the DND is not on. And they are not in use .

Hi David,
I have to admit I've never seen this before. If the extensions are real, they work and DND is not on - plus you have VM coverage set to 5 rings, there is something wrong. Try my favorite advice when silly things are happening. Turn the system off and on again. Force a program reload and see if that fixes your problem.

Personally, I have tried desi.com's desi labels (and their software ROCKS!) but I really prefer overtechinc.com's labels. They are less likely to get cought in the printers in my experience.
