Is this a good idea?

I have 4x 36 GB drives.

IS it best leave Windows installed on its own partition? If so how big?

Thanks.

let's help one another, not hinder.

Is this going to be a RAID system? I would strongly recommend a RAID5 on a server of this size.

I setup win2k server all the time and I usually create a 10 gig primary partition for the O/S.

If you are using a scsi controller to do the raid, then you can create a raid5 out of all the drives if you wish.

If you are using windows to perform raid, then you can only mirror the system partition and do raid with the rest.
