Hi

I have problem partitioning the new 200GB Seagate HD I bought recently.
I connected the new HD through an external casing with USB2.After partitioning it with Partition Magic v8.0 I ended up with only one partition of 130GM. What has happened to the remaining 70GM?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Limitations of your motherboards bios? or if XP/W2K you are using pre service pack1 W2K pre service pack4? anyways update your OS, see what happens (repartition) possibly bios flash if that doesn't cure it.
I believe that you can also use the manufactures drive hard drive utility "overlay tools" with the same results? although I never tried this myself.
