Hey, need advice on partitioning the c: drive when the xp os is already on. tried disk manager and part. magic. If anyone can help me with this. Thanks

Partition Magic 8.x should be able to do this, Disk Management will not if the space is already fully allocated.

You need to "Shrink" and existing partition first in order to create enough free space for the new partition(s).

Thanks for you're reply, we look in on that rev.8

In reply to this part. of c: bcastner have you used part. magic 8 on repartitioning c:/ will it work?

Shrinking partitions so that new onces can be added is the bread and butter of Partition Magic. It should work.
