Hi
Does anyone know if Ericsson plans to implement this in SP:s of BC11 or BC12 ?

Duvel

MD evolution from Telcom Europe supports it.
With Partical routing you don't get trombone effect at mobile extension or external follow me. Also the call is terminated at b-party within the same network as the origin and hence original a-number is shown at b-party without need of no screening in the public network.

what you mean is the feature "partial rerouting". It is not supportet in BC11 SP10 or older. In my understandig it is a better external calldiversion without using B-Channels from PSTN to PABX.

Isn't this feature called path replacement?
like A calls B, B calls C and transfers A to C, at this moment a new call is setup from A to C and the trunks to B are released.

is this on topic or not?

greetings,

Path Replacement is the same as optimized routing ?

Partical ruting is when an incoming call towards the PBX is rerouted out again towards an external destination without the call rerouted being originated in the PBX , that is it remains in the public network .
This way you have no trombone effect and sending of original a-number (without the need of no screening) is possible.

But normally A comes externally, PSTN or Mobile.

Do you know if it will be implemented there ?
