Part 1-How do I identify my phone system hardware and software?

Part 2-How do I set up call forwarding to an external phone number.

What I do know is we Norstar Modular ICS w/voicemail, a full T1(24 lines) with 150 DID's & 24 analog cards.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Lookup the label on the software cartridge for MICS version (or if you know how to lookup the SP# that would be even better)

2. If you are MICS 4.1 and above, it is possible to setup remote call forwarding

anything proir to 4.1 you can do a line redirect as long as you have a incomming "private" line that app/rngs on you set
private meaning if its assigned to your phone and you were the only one who accepts calls on that tel number...not ext... Cannot redirect an ext
