Parameter to create a pdf from a report

I want to be able to create a pdf file from a report depending on a parameter, and then e-mail it. I have searched through the forums but have so far nothing has answered my question.
The problem is that sometimes I want the report to be created as normal and other times as a pdf and then to e-mail.

Have a look at my CUT utility:

You would create formulas that, based on the value of a parameter, trigger exporting and e-mailing (using the Additonal Functions that CUT provides).

I have since found something to allow me to be more specific in my question.
I have found the URL:

http://servername/share/report.rpt?...xxx&prompt0=75&cmd=EXPORT&EXPORT_FMT=U2FPDF:0

and used this to change my url to:

http://servername/share/report.rpt?...19)"&init=actx&cmd=EXPORT&EXPORT_FMT=U2FPDF:0

However my report appears in the same crystal report format in the viewer not as pdf. Is the pdf version being saved into a default folder or do I need to add something else to my url to view and save the report as a pdf file?
