Hello!

Are you able to set parameter hints for UDF's...

Like the little yellow box that pops up when you type:
"left(" to help the user add the parameters in the correct order?

Cheers! Mike

:)
That is called IntelliSense and if I'm not mistaken is available built-in only in SQL Server 2008.

It works for me but only for "old" functions.
If you just created the function you must exit the SSMS and then enter it again.

There are replacements for built-in IntelliSense.
One is SQL Prompt from Red-Gate and other is:

(not tried either of them :)

Thanks Bborissov...

I'm runing 2008 and you're right! I closed SSMS and reopened and now I have hints!!!

If only everything in SQL Server was that easy!

Thank you! Mike

Thanks markros :)
I didn't knew that.

Mike,
SQL Server is not that difficult as it looks like :)
