Is there an easy way to use a combo box with a parameter so the user does not have to type in the parameter? I would like to run a report using a date field for the parameter and would like to give the user a list of dates to pick from.

In the query that feeds the report replace the parameter prompt with...

[Forms]![FormName]![ComboBoxName] ljprodev@yahoo.com
ProDev
MS Access Applications

I made a form with the combo box that looks up the date field and it will list the dates in the table. I put the combo box name [Forms]![datechoice]![datechoice] in place of the parameter in the query but all it does is show the name of the combo box as the prompt in the parameter.

Do you have extra brackets around it like this?

[[Forms]![FormName]![ComboBoxName]]

If so remove them and put it like this...

[Forms]![FormName]![ComboBoxName] ljprodev@yahoo.com
ProDev
MS Access Applications

Are you putting it on the criteria line of your query under the column in question or in the little parameter popup window?

Try putting it on the criteria line. ljprodev@yahoo.com
