I am using a parameter field to select accounts on which to run the report. The problem is, when I select the table and then field to populate the Default Values box, it only shows the accounts from A to C. Yes, there are a LOT of accounts, but I don't have an exact count of how many are currently showing up in this "Default Values" box. I need to be able to show A through Z. Is there a limit to the number of values I can provide?

Thanks in advance,

Pat

It will only populate with the first 500 it finds. To get more you can add them manually, or you can import them from a text file. (Export your current list from the default values window to see the format of the text file to use for importing.

Keep in mind that this list will be saved with the report and will be STATIC. It won't update when new accounts are added. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting

Thanks Ken. My next step was to try the Import function. Looks like that's what I will have to do. Any other way around the STATIC limitation? Using VB maybe?

Thanks again.

The CR parameter is always static, but you can bypass it if you write your own front end in VB. Then you can create your own prompt window, and pass the selected values to the CR parameter. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
