Parameter accessgin database fields

I need to have an input parameter for my report that will display a dropdown list of values of a field from the database. I would like the values in the dropdown list to be realtime values. The only thing I found to do this is the Set Default Values but this only imports the data once and doesn't show realtime data. I am new to Crystal and would really appreciate help with this. Thanks.

This is a real weakness with Crystal.

You can write code to do this (VB, etc.), or use a third party viewer which allows for this.
