Hello

I have a phaser 350 which is giving me some problems
1) when I turn it on, it makes some cliking noises, then says "load A4 Sized Paper" even though there is a full tray.
2) it is saying Error 04,005:44
which reading the forum means
"failure positioning the drum maintenance cam during a drum maintenance cycle. Check drum maintenance cam solenoid,"
I've tried cleaning every sensor I can find, and have noticed where the paper sensors are on IO/2.

Is there anything I can do to make this printer better:)

Thanks

Mat

Check the RHS of the tray - you will find some cutouts in the side at the front. Wear & tear tends to cause the correct 'fills' to pop out thus confusing the machine.

There is also a Cap/Wipe assembly that moves up & down in front of the printhead in order to 'suck it clean'. run the unit with the sides off - do you notice any movement problems there or with the movemnt of the maintenance tray cam (moves the tray up so that the oil roller contacts the drum)
