Hello,

we're trying to setup external sensor call, but looks like there's something we're missing. I have the senor set to call an extension number at all times, COS is set correctly, but still nothiing happens when the sensor input is activated (just shorted directly for testing).

Have anyone succesfully done that, there doesn't seem to be many threads around the web for this, or I'm really stuck finding them. Anything I'm missing?

Thank you for your time.

Yep, I'm trying to ring one of the wired extensions - no luck. Have the 5V, that bit definitly works, actually I've even checked the signal all the way to the transistor collectors that go probably to the controller inputs after that - all as expected and yet - not ringing, not a sign anything happens.

I'll have look, but it's worth mentioning that the relays work on other side. If you know what's the latest version or one that should be working, I can test easily, it's a simple setup anyway, not worried for loosing settings.

So, the version is 5.0003, so it's either a software issue or I'm just missin something obvious, but really no idea what that could be. Another odd thing is, that I can't control the relay outputs with *56 if set as relays, however, all works if set as door opener and can be accessed with *55 - any clue what might be causing this?

If I can't sort out the sensor inputs, which would have been ideal, I figured I can just use the Doorphone lines and ring them instead - can anyone point to the Panasonic doorphones internal schematic, so I can the least do this properly. I've tested with low value resistor and have confirmed this would work, just better use the original values.

Thank you.

Thank you! That's a really helpful SM, would allow me to troubleshoot the inputs a bit further. I can't test with another TDA3161 at the moment, can only test the same in another TDA30, but that's unlikely to help.
Do you have teh SM for KX-T30865/KX-T7765 by any chance? Looks like I might just end up using the Doorphone inputs as sensor inputs.
Thanks again, kizo!

Thank you, kizo, you've been most helpful. The doorphone SM has all I need to use the doorphone inputs instead. Looking at the card SM it looks like sensor inputs go streight to the controller after the input transistor switch, which I already checked that works, so not much I can do there. You're probably right, could just be a bad card.

Thank you!
