I have two TDA 200 and the client would like to combine them so that the extension can communicate easily between the TWO TDA

Can I use One CO line from TDA 200 A and attach to SLT slot to TDA 200 B and allow the combination though only one call at one time will be allowed

Please help and guide

I would rather you connect the two using PRI/E1 or T1 depending on your location.

What is the expected maximum number of simultaneous calls?

If only 5, then you need 5free LCOT ports and 5 Free SLT ports on each system.

The FXS's will be treated as analog trunks.
Put then in a ground and assign an access code (preferably matching the first digit of extensions on either system) then the other 2 ext'n digit Nos.

(The reason i prefer Asterisk is flexibility in the dial plan - you set anything you like).

You may need 4 digit extension numbers (You will always dial 4 anyway if your extension currently have 3 digits
