Hey guys, fairly newbie status when it comes to a Panasonic system.
Mandatory 10 digit dialing is being implemented in our area, and I’ve got a request to midifay the Panasonic tda to automatically add the area code when dialing 7 digits.

Can anyone provide assistance in this?

Thank you in advance

Group -> Trunk Group -> Dialling Plan

under dial do XXXXXXX then under added number put in your area code.

That will end dialling after 7 digits and add the code to anything you dial. Does anything above the 7 digits code start with 0 or the 7 digits code start with a 1-9 digits only

If so in the dial plan add 0XXXXXXXXXXXXX must be as long or longer than the max numbers you would dial after 0 or you can do different entries like 01XXXXXXXXXX IF 01 had only ten digits

Then for the 7 digits codes to add the prefix you can have 7XXXXXX and add prefix to added digits

You can have many different formats like 71XXXXX which will only add the prefix it 71 were the lead numbers. But you can’t have both 71XXXXX and 7XXXXXX as it will follow the 7XXXXXX no matter what followed the 7

You will have to add this string to any lead numbers like 2XXXXXX and add prefix to added digits

I attempted adding the XXXXXXX to the dialing plan, and adding the 603, but per my digit grabber the call is only sending out the 7 digits, it is not adding the area code.
I tried all sorts of different formats as well, NXXXXXX/TN/etc, but no luck

Can anyone think of anything I might be missing?

Thanks in advance
