Panasonic TA824 and KX-T7731 call hold exclusive 3

When calls are placed on hold, only the line that put the call on hold can pick up. It was working where anybody could pick up the line, there was a power surge and now all hold calls are set to exclusive even if you only hit hold once, not double tab hold (which does not make a difference) I have access to programming via usb and the phone it self but can't for the life of me find the setting to fix this. I have also power cycled the phone system just to see if it made a difference. Anybody had this problem before, any idea how to change it?

In the kxtes824 ( euro version) we don't have exclusive hold. if it happened after a power surge you may have to default the system.

CWC, will be able to tell you if it is the same for the kxta

Pressing the hold button twice is how exclusive hold is activated by the user. Didn't see anything in the manual on a way to program this to be a permanent state.

Also try station feature clear just for good measure Intercom 79#

zak have lost the ability to barge into calls or a single press hold button makes held call fast flash flash and lit solid every where else?

cwc3: Yes, when put on hold it flashes green on phone and solid red light on all other phones. thanx

Thanks for all the help, I finally just broke down and did a system reset (I did backup current config before i did that) and now anybody can pickup a call on hold.
