Hello Panasonic Technicians
I need help with settings for a Panasonic KX-TDE 600 with a trunk port sip card.
Model V-SIPGW16. We have a system that supply's RFC 3261 sip protocol. We have yet to have
the Panasonic PBX acknowledge or signals but have monitored the signal and seen the rejection
of the sip signal from the PBX. This is a third party device so Panasonic will not support
the PBX programmer. I hope someone has interfaced sip trunk signals with Panasonic.
Thanks Ron

What are you linking the Panasonic system to
The sip card you installed is to link 2 systems together and the licence needs to be topd they are gateway trunks

This is a Tektone Nurse call that sends RFC 3261 sip Protocol in a B2B arrangement
I have attached information on the Nurse Call and the PBX Card.
Please read the files and let me know if you need more information
and Thank You for Your help.

The PBX installer said he paid for License and the setup is to be back to back as if two PBX'S were connected
The problem we have is the tech doesn't know how to setup the PBX to receive the sip signal. I have the ability
to give him a prefix a passcode and a extension to go to.

Rwstrat,

you setup sip extensions on the nurse call system and give them passwords
on the Panasonic system you set up the sip trunk as follows

1/ user name is the extension(unless the nurse call uses a a name, but I doubt it)
2/ password as set on the nurse call sip extension
3/ sip server is the IP address of the nurse call sip server
4/ set the DDI table as dialed number and send to required extension( this could be the extension number of phone on the Panasonic, and the destination being the extension on the Panasonic( you may need a sip trace to see what is being sent)
5 the incoming call setting will be to header by default, you may have to change this to requested uri, depends on what is being sent from the nurse call
5/ outbound calls are to header by default, you may need to change this to p-preferred header and pbx clip. it using pbx clip, you will need to set the extension number in extension settings. you will have to play around with some of these setting to get it right

This should get you started, see haw far you get and come back to us

Hi this is the Tec working on the PBX.
Can you give me locations to where some of your requested settings are.
Setting this SIP CO is new to me.
