I've only ever worked on the TVM's so not at all familiar with the SVM.
I want to set up ICD Group 601 to be answered by a group mailbox after x number of rings.
In Form 3.5.1 and in overflow No Answer I have typed in 591. When I call nothing happens and I've set my overflow time to 20 seconds
Also, they want extension voicemail so I put the 591 in the intercept destination and 12 seconds for time and again voicemail doesn't pick up
However, when I set 601 to be answered by 501 then it looks for the Auto Attendant
I can also access the codes to record messages from the users extensions so I do believe the voicemail is connected properly
The COS for the ICD Group is 1 and the users is 2.
I don't know that it's a COS issue because, from the extensions, I can record a greeting.

there are no group voicemail in the svm, the phone in first entry if you have recorded voicemail (*381 then autodial store key to save) will answer the group call if intercept no answer has 591 and a time selected in intercept timer

to have a separate mailbox setup a portable extension (no need for a phone to be registered), then in extension/ portable station enter a password/pin to that extension. put that extension in first entry of group as above.
dial *47 (extension no)(pin No) *381 autodial store to save to record greeting.

You will need a message waiting key on a phone for that extension to show there is a message and pressing will play back message
 
Okay what if they don't want the Auto Attendant at all. So the call comes in, hits group 601 and after 20 seconds goes to the voicemail on extension 101
When I put the overflow to go to 591 and 20 seconds it rings and rings. Voicemail never picks up.
 
non of above will do AA. both options are for voicemail, you have to record ogm message or it will never answer
 
I am trying to access an extensions SVM from external.
I have allowed remote access in 5.3.3
I have set up a PIN on the extension.
I get all the way to dialling *38 then I get a reorder tone.
NE Ideas?
