Panasonic KXTEA308 v3 - PSTN ring delay on SLTs

Hi! Compared to PT phones, there is a 2-3second delay before the handset rings on i/c pstn calls. Am I missing asetting? UK spec - 8no. PT / SLT ports. Many thanks

Are they cordless phones. Saying that it can be a delay on standard phones. The system does not ring all phones at the same time,(even the pt) it will stagger them to stop overload on the psu if all phones are set to ring

Hi! So to prove if a problem, set all to no ring bar one SLT and then see if delay, then one SLT and one PT. Ill give that a try....Regards Neville
p.s. Installed 2no. KXTT7730 and 3no. SLTs / POTs.

The system is not that intelligent, it will do it on a port basis, no mather what is connected to it of if nothing is connected. It will take a litte longer for the slt port because it has to pull a relay to switch to ac for the ringer. there is nothing you can do to change it
