I am brand new to this system and can only do the most basic of functions. I assume that if you have a new phone you need to assign it the IP port. I can get to that feature through the phone but it prompts me for a password that I do not have. Does anyone know what the default password is? Or where can I look it up or reset it? If this is the wrong way to go about the configuration of the phone please let me know.

Any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Andres

No, you don’t need that. If on the same subnet, just plug the phone in and set the ip extension registration to a ip extension and it will find it

If for some reason you need to put in the IP address of the system manually, this is under pbx- primary pbx

You will need to set to manual registration in the config of the pbx and then register the ip phone like a Portable Station

If you set automatic registration on the system, you cannot change back without defaulting the system

Manual is default setting

First of all I want to thank you both for your help and your answers. However, I think I then need to take a step or two back. I have performed a reset and initialize on the phone. How do I set the IP Extension registration?
At this time after a few seconds showing me "Server Connecting1..." all I get is a message saying "POOR LAN CONNECTION".

I know this is extremely basic but as I said I am completely new to this system.

Thank you!

Have you access to the maintenance web page
On slot you will see registration where you can select what extension to register

If it was registered on the system you have to manually input primary pbx ip on the phone
