Can someone please! help me

i am trying to develop an application to work with panaconic ks-500 pbx but i have been unable to recieve any documentation on the cdr format. i have integrated my application with other pbx's

and i know that there are many program's that does this already but i would really like to do my own development.

i saw an example of the raw data on this site
looks like this:
18/07/05 09:01AM 1 E216 T20320 1831141498502402 00:00'01
18/07/05 09:01AM 1 E211 T20108 <I>0398002341 0'00 00:00'41 TR
18/07/05 09:02AM 1 E245 T20318 1831141495408231 00:00'41

but i am not sure of a few things that i am seeing here i know the date, time, extention and line they are quiet straight forward. but i am not sure if its safe to assume they come in the same position all the time. but as for the the <I> and the digits dialed and what i think is the durations its kinda unsure thats why i wanted to see the cdr format for this pbx or see a few more samples so that i can try and basically guess whats going

so i would love for someone to jus explain wats happening in the call log above

and send me a link to or show me the cdr format please

i found some other samples but the sample looks wierd to me i dont see anything that looks like a duration

i think terminal port was used to collect this data so i dont know if something wasn't inabled

@cwc3

thanks. so the second record that has the <I> is an incoming, but whats the 0398002341 number?

second question
00:00'41 is this the duration? and wat exactly is this 0'00 because i dont see this on the outgoing calls

oh yea i was also wondering what did the * mean in the call record below

07/11/06 03:35PM *250 0008 9265688

and what does the - mean in this call record
07/11/06 03:36PM 250 0007 9785887-

The digits after the <i> are the calling party number. Thats what the system is recieveing as the caller id number.

as for the second set of records, i have never seen a 500 output data like that before.

Date Time Ext Trunk Position
18/07/05 09:01AM 1 E216 T20320
Number dialled Duration (hh:mm'ss)
1831141498502402 00:00'01

Hope it helps

@shardian
thanks for explanantion i think the second set is prob a tda200 i not sur ei asked for a sample and thats what i got i guess the person got it mixed up

the example u gave m is for kx-td500 though right. but question is the info sent back in that format in two lines or its sent back in one line?.

It'll all be on one line. For some reason when I dragged it from your original post, it went to two lines.

When the raw data is sent from the system it'll come out on one line for you
