Alas, I installed two 193 cards, reset the system, programmed 8 co lines enable using program #406 and when I go to the phones they tell me "CO not assigned". Huh?

you can only put 1 4co DDI card per 1232 chasis
I think "CO not assigned" has nothing to do with Caller ID. Check Your phone and system settings.
You can use trick, if on system phone haven't enough CO buttons - programm buttons in software like on phone model which has a more buttons and dial with trunk numbers on test (put every line in different trunk group).

the CO is not assigned to the phone. Also you must have the phone set to ring on the CO in order to get caller ID. The CO not assigned has nothing to do with the caller ID cards.
