I have a kx-ta624 with kx-t7000 phones and need the following feature: When the secretary transfers a call to my extension (102) for it to call me on my cell phone if i do no answer the call.

It is possible to forward all to a co
but not when a ext doesn't answer to a c.o.

so then what's my solution? how do some phone systems do this then? thanks!

without knowing how your 6x24 is configuired
a TDE 200 would be perfect you'd get all the features you are whining about you can add new digital phones later and you will be able to take advatage of all technology thats out there!!

you can call forward a call from your extension to your mobile on the 624, but there are limitations.

This is due to most local exchanges do not give call supervision on Analogue Lines.

First, Under Class of service you need to be allowed to Call forward external.

Second, you need to set your Phone to forward all call when
you leave your desk.
Because there is no call supervision, you will need to use
the co to co call transfer to enable and the timer to disconnect the call after 1 to 10 Minutes. This will allow the lines to release without call supervision form the local Telco Exchange.

Nice try did you read his post he wants calls to only forward on a no answer ....We know that you can forward all calls on an ext thats no mystery Enstien ...
