great forum, friend bought these Panasonic kx-t7730 phones 2 months ago for his business, in Mexico (where im writing from) there are constant power outages which disables the phone system. I am looking for the codes that the tech inputs to reset the system as the wait times for the service call are 2-3 days and the charge for the service is becoming prohibitive. Thanks in advance for any help!

For a start get some battery backup power installed
you need to tell us what the Phone system is not just the phones.

Thanks Trotski for the response, sorry for the incomplete information. The main unit is a Panasonic KX-TEA308. A battery backup is a great idea.

I have the Australian manual for what we call KX-TA308 which sounds like the same system but one of the American Dudes should be able to give you a link for the manual or search the forum, it might be allready there.

By the way the System should not lose it's programming when the power is lost, you may have more problems than bad power.

Hello Chrisser1, The system is "disabled" what exactly do u mean??Does the System lose its program?does it require re-programming???How old is the PABX???If it requires reprogramming tyen there is 3V Lithium Battery on the main card that requires replacement. Another simpler way of rectifying this is connecting the Back-Up batteries.

The TA308 System is an older version of the TEA, The TEA, TES and TEM versions are replacements of the TA series. TA Series are expandable to 6 Lines + 24 Extensions whilst the TES and TEM are initial configured for 3+8 and 6+16 maximum capacity 8+24. the TA on the other hand has amaximum capacity of 6+24.

Sal2 is right, replace the Lithium battery and add the battery backup to the system then you should not have to program it again when the power goes out
