Hi,
We have a Panasonic KX-ns500 configured for IVR to play a menu and route user choices to Local Extensions. Now we want to route
user choices to cellphones. what are the requirements/procedures?Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello thkatana,
I understand that you want to do like: user call in and got IVR (DISA) then press ext and now you want that when user press ext number, and pbx will route call to cellphone. If this is the case, you need to have Activation Key KX-NS1xx and set Mobile Extension to Enable then System Speed Dial with CO line Access Number as cellphone and CLI Destination as Extension number.

Thank you for quick reply, yes something like that. I want user calls phone number 08001234567 gets option"press 1 to speak to office".
then the pbx immediately dials cellphone with or without passing through extension.

Please explain more on the activation key or send me a link on exactly what it is.

1. Go to 1. Configuration – 2. Portable Station. Assign Virtual PS Extension Numbers.
One for each Cell Phone you will be using. This will become the Cell Phones Extension number.

2. Go to 4. Extension – 2. Portable Station – 2. FWD/DND. Each Extension assigned on previous step should be Call FWD to respective Cell Phone number. Make sure to enter 9 before the phone number.

3. Go to 2. System – 7. Class of Service – 1. COS Settings. Click on CO & SMDR tab. Set Call Forward to CO to Enable.

4. Go to 3. Groups – 5. Incoming Call Distribution Group – 1. Group Settings. Enter in a Floating Extension Number for an ICD Group. Also set Distribution Method to Ring (One group for each cell phone)

5. Go to 3. Groups – 5. Incoming Distribution Group – 4. Members. Enter in Extension number you wish to be part of ICD Group, including the Virtual PS Extension you assigned in step 1.

6. Go to 10. Co and Incoming Call – 3. DID Table. Set the necessary DID’s destination Day to the ICD Group Number assigned in step 4.

I understand this works only for PRI Lines

Otioni, That method will need the mobile license, for a mobile phone to ring within the group.

if you want option 1 to go to a mobile (not ring any where else first) you can either set option 1 to call a portable station that is forward to the mobile number or a group that is forward to the mobile, you don't need members in that group.

If you want some phones to ring first then go to a mobile you can setup the group with intercept to the PS that is forwarded to mobile

like Otoni said, you will need to allow fwd to co in class of service that phone or group is in.

you can use this if you have ISDN or analogue lines with CPC signalling or reverse polarity enabled or else the lines will not clear down when the call ends

Thanks All for Responses,
My question is is there an option that doesn't require a license? and if license is a must whats the exact license so I can try to find out the cost?

the ones I listed will not need a license, the call will divert but only that number will ring, no other phones will ring for that call while mobile is ringing
