IP phones both NT and sip phones not communicating with analog phones and not communicating with PRI30 line

Thank you so much Mike for your response, for the period of time I have worked on Panasonic ns500 I have never set this codec it always comes set by default but I will have a look at it and see what is set. I appreciate your contribution.

If its no or one way audio make sure the dsp Ip is not clashing. If its a new install check the mac is showing under the dsp card IP address in network settings

It's not a problem of one way audio , the scenario is when IP phones call analog extensions the extensions ring but disconnects immediately before someone picks which applies to the E1 but when IP extension call IP calls is successful and communication is very OK which applies to analog when they call each other or if they access the E1 it'd very okay the problem is IP to analog and E1

Was this issue resolved?, if yes how?

This issue has not yet been resolved I am still seeking for help from anyone who can help thank you so much

Have you verified the dsp ip is not clashing with something else on the network

Analogue phones calling on the pri don’t go through the dsp, ip phone to ip phone doesn’t go through the dsp if local, they go peer tp peer. So if there an issue only from IP to analogue or pri, it has to be the dsp

Can you post a screenshot of the network settings or send the dnsys file to look at the config

Yes I isolated the network so I am sure the issue is not IP conflict

The issue is not IP conflict I isolated the network

You should try to reset your NS500 to factory default settings.

Don't forget to make backup of DFSYS-file before it.

I did a cold reset and the problem is still persisting so I still need help on this

I contacted Panasonic but there response is really very bad I have been a Panasonic promoter for 15 years but I think it's time to go open source because I think you can never go wrong

I moved to open source 10years ago when i saw the path Panasonic was taking. I hope someone out there will continue to make their phones & or phone systems. They have been rock-solid systems. Cheap and easy to learn and maintain. You may want to Migrate to an Asterisk-based system e.g E-Metrotel, Sangoma, Yeastar e.t.c

Although like OBT said the problem has very much got to do with the DSP Card.

omonat I can assure you I got another DSP card the problem was still the same so I ruled out the DSP problem

Mutimafc, try the following solution.
Connect your NS500 and all IP-phones to a stand-alone switch. Use a simple non-managed switch such as TP-link, D-Link, etc for test.
We have a negative experience of using smart managed switches - they can be too smart and can block some types of traffic.

Ired thank you so much for your participation I want to assure you that I used another unmanaged switch still it never helped.

I haven't got help yet in the issue can anyone help or should I recommend a new pbx

Have you checked the System -> Class of Service -> Internal Call Block to see if your users CoS is being blocked accessing another CoS?

This has got nothing to do with the class of service but thank you for your suggestion
