Hi,

We have a Panasonic KX-NCP500XNE with a VoIP DSP4 card and activation key.

Right now we use analog phones and also an analog phone line to call outside/recevice calls.

We want to keep the analog phones but switch to VoIP (using the PBX) to call outside and receive calls. Is this possible? When we bought the PBX the reseller said it is possible but now another reseller tells us this is not possible.

We are confused! Can someone clarify this? Are there manuals for setting this up?

Thanks!

Regards,

Frank

The number of activated IP-GW channels was 4/4. I changed it to 0/4 and applied the settings. Now I got INS and I am able to call the PBX.
Looks like it is working! But it rings on only 1 extension. While the ISDN lines ring on all extensions. Where can I change that?

And when we port the phonenumber to the VOIP connection, how do we change outgoing calls to route through VOIP and not ISDN.

Thanks so far obtsystems! It looks like we are getting somewhere!

have you setup the ddi table. they may send in all digits or even international code. or maybe username. you may to set called party as requested -uri

ring in once or twice to the system and if you do a utility /V-sip16 protocol trace then download the file utility, transfer pbx to pc and download/transfer prtsipc file

open with wireshark and see what comes in. if you don't know how,

e-mail written like that to stop trolls picking it up

once you have all this working you will set up the old numbers and when you port the numbers change line groups on the trunks and change buttons on phones it they are set to co 1, 2, 3 etc
