I have a Panasonic D816 PABX and am looking at setting up a VOIP solution.

Ideally I would like to setup access to two other sites with say a 4 trunk card.

Can anyone tell me whether this system has the capability to add in a VOIP interface card and if so, what the card model is?

Thanks in advance..

Ok cheers.

I have one office with fifteen people and am relocating five of those to a nearby smaller office

Both of these locations need to have VOIP connectivity to the UK

What system could you recommend?

I awaiting a quote for a KX-TDE - do you know whether this would be compatible with an NEC Aspire and/or NEC NEC XN120?

Cheers..

TDE will be your best bet, use SIP trunks to connect to NEC(if they have the capability?)

OK cheers.

Does anyone know whether Panasonic KX-T7433 handsets are VOIP compatible - either with a Panasonic VOIP system or an NEC one?

handsets is the part of the phone you talk and listen
through . The KX-T 7433's are not voip phones
but can be reused at the KX-TDE site the nt-series
phones can be used off premise.....

Sorry if I was unclear.

I understand they aren't VOIP phones, but wasn't sure if I had to upgrade them to VOIP handsets - so the KX-T7433 handsets can be used with a KX-TDE system?

Whats an NT Series phone?

get on Panasonics website in your prospective country
and read info regarding the types of phones that are available on the KX-TDE .....

I've decided to go with the NEC Aspire and/or NEC NEC XN120

This is the same system they have in the other group sites.

Once the system is installed - if I receive an external call from a customer, could I transfer that call to the other site (assuming we have a trunk/tunnel between sites)?

Also, what kind of bandwidth does a standard voice call use?

Thanks..
