Hello,, A customer of mine inherited D 308. He has two stations
11 & 12 and then something on the 2nd pair of Sta. 13 and three CO lines.

No other Stations come up on the 25 pair block.

The main problem is Sta. 12 defaults to intercom dial tone, which is fine, but if you do not punch in the two digits fast enough for ex. 1 1 the dial tone reverts to a fast busy and display reads " Not Valid"
I need to change that timer, and reset the Clock time. Does any one know the short cuts to get these two things done real quick. I have no manuals.
Thanks

Oh yeah, does that system have Caller ID built in. or does it need a card? Thank you all!!

The system is cabled out the same as a TD-1232 system in that the analog pair is the first pair of a group of 3 and the digital pair is the 2nd of 3 pairs. In the unexpanded mode, (without the CID and expansion cards) the first 4 ports are analog and there are 8 digital ports. You should see voltage on every 2nd of 3 pairs and the first of every 3 pairs for the first 4 extensions.

You probably have pickup dial enabled at that station and either no number or an invalid number is set. To turn off pickup dialing, go off hook at the offending phone (in this case 12) and without hesitation dial 740, this will shut it off. The factory default delay for pickup dialing is 1 second, but you can change that in program 204. This value determines how long (in seconds) after a set goes off-hook without dialing any digits before the pickup dial number automatically kicks in.

User pickup dial feature syntax:

742xxxxxxxxxx# defines the pickup value to be xxxxxxxxx
(eg: 74295551212# would have the set automatically grab an outside line and dial 5551212 if nothing is dialed within 1 sec.)

741 activates pickup dialing.

740 deactivates pickup dialing.
