Palm Vx will not power up

My girl friend's palm Vx will not power up. She said that it was working it and it told her to update something.. and when she clicked 'yes' that it just turn off and now it will not power back up.. Does anyone have any idea of what caused this and how to resolve it?

Try a Soft Reset, found on the back of your palm. If this doesn't work, try a Hard Reset (Hold Power button while Pressing Reset)
