I have an opportunity to buy a Palm Vx at very good price (for Australian prices, that is ).
I really have no need for most of the 'organization' functions of a PDa (To Do list, phone and address list, scheduler, etc). But if there were some way I could use it as a backup for my trusty Sharp PC 1401 'pocket computer' - which can be programmed in a fairly good Basic, then the Vx might be worth buying. (I am assuming that my Sharp PC 1401 will give up before I do).
Is there any way I could program the Vx in Basic, or is there anyway I could load (and run) DOS executable programs onto it.
All comments (however depressing) will be gratefully accepted.
