Hello,
I'm trying to make an flash animation in which a vector line drawing gets "painted" as the animation goes on. Imagine it like how you draw the letter "G", that's what the image basically. So the animation is the acutall drawing of the shape. The problem is I can't figure out how to do a shape tween while keeping it along the path of the "G".

Is this possible with tweening? I can do a shape tween and use hints, which makes it better, but it still morphs out of the path to get to the next destination.
Please let me know any thought you think may be helpful,
Thanks!
Tim

If you want it to look as if the G is getting drawn, or written out, try making a layer with the G on it, then doing another layer that slowly animates a mask over it, revealing the letter behind.

Flashkit has a good tutorial on this, if I'm understanding you right anyway...
