Hi,Please know any help is deeply appreciated
I have Corel painter classic and Corel 9 I use a wacom intuos 2 pen tab.I love how you can render/draw/paint in
painter classic but it is limited in type/font and other
graphics.1)Can corel 9 draw like Painter classic? I can't
seem to get it to draw freehand well at all..I draw a line and it becomes an independent line with nodes on it.
2)Can I draw in Painter classic and then how can I import to Draw 9..what type of file? I am trying to learn this
as an "Old Dog" Thanks very much!!!!!Paul <><

Do you ahve an option in COrel Painter to save in Corel Presentation Exchange Format (.CMX)? This seems to provide the most universal "transfer" ability between Corel applications.

First,Thanks for taking the time to reply!Second I will go and check. Thanks Attrofy! Paul <><

Corel Painter classic does not have(CMX) I am sorry to report. Any other sugestions?BTW I have never been on a forum/chat so I am not sure if I am putting my responces
in the right section. Sorry! Thanks SSSSSSSSSSSSSSoooooo
much for taking your time to help!!!!! Paul <><

Yes you are resonding in the proper location...LOL

Secondly, what formats can you export your files as from Painter? I am not at all familiar with Corel Painter, and have limited use with a tablet. With the Freehand tool, you should be able to do just that, draw freehand. However, witht he mouse, you must hold the button down while you draw. If you click once, and release the button, the result will be much as you described, a single point, with a line vectoring off in the direction of the stylus (mouse) until you click again, then a nice little line. I think there are some updates/patches for tablets/pens on the Corel Website.

Wish I could be of more help to you.

Russell
